  • Yale University, School of Medicine, Division of Molecular Psychiatry invites applications for a full-time academic tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level.

    Must possess a Ph.D. and/or M.D., two years postdoctoral experience to build or continue a successful, independent, extramurally funded research program. Will use in vivo methods to establish systems level paradigms for understanding animal models of complex behaviors including voltammetry, amperometry or microdialysis, and/or in vivo electrophysiological recording. A focus on animal models of psychiatric illness preferred. Must have a record of excellence, creativity, initiative in research and strong potential to build a vigorous and competitive research program.

Postdoc

  • Post-doc position: We are seeking a motivated person to join an interdisciplinary team to study CNS regulation of hibernation and mechanisms of ischemia tolerance in wild-caught Arctic ground squirrels. The position is in the laboratory of Kelly Drew at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Techniques include in vivo models of stroke and cardiac arrest, microdialysis, CE-LIF, HPLC, NMR, MRI, acute brain slice and neural stem cell cultures.
